Topics appearing in E. Verlinde’s lecture IV

Japanese version
22 Jun. and 1st Jul Dr. E.Verlinde gave the lectures titled "The Hidden Phase Space of Our Universe" at Perimeter inst. and Uppsala. I have found another article concering to the E. Verlinde's arguments in physicsforums.com. The title of that article is "Relation between Verlinde's Entropic gravity and AdS/CFT," which is under Physics Forums > Physics > Beyond the Standard Model as same as the previous article "CDM/MOND duality through Holography."

Because I had firstly looked at the comments by E. Verlinde himself about his first paper not on his own home page but on Mr. Lubos Motl's blog. At that time, seemingly they have the same opinion, but gradually, I feel that they differ each other when seeing well. One of difference is the interpretation of the diagonal entries of open strings as the following article.

In the artice there are some quotes between Mr. Mitchell Porter and Lubos Motl. I search the original, but I cannot find the original. Well, it is natural that there are the different opinions in this area.

The original article is:

Relation between Verlinde's Entropic gravity and AdS/CFT

I translated this article into Japanese.

A translation of "The Birds and the Bs" of Quantum Diaries

Japanese version
I have completed to translate the article by US LHC Mr. Flip Tanedo on Quantum Diary, titled "The Birds and the Bs" and posted it my BLOG.

He explains B -> mu mu decay, say "Bs," the penguin diagram, say "birds" and FCNC. They are the theoretical aspect of some arguments about the Higgs research at EPS-HEP2011.

Topics appearing in E. Verlinde’s lecture III

Japanese version
22 Jun. and 1st Jul Dr. E.Verlinde gave the lectures titled "The Hidden Phase Space of Our Universe" at Perimeter inst. and Uppsala. I find an article titled "CDM/MOND duality through Holography" on physcsforums and I will mention an tiny comment as the part III.

Japanese version
The conference of European Physical Society (EPS) is opened in Grenoble in France since July 21 and the new results concerning the Higgs search have been announced. It is also scheduled to be opened on the 26th the 25th next week. We might expect the more new results about it. The discussion starts on the blog etc. now. I have post the list containing the titles, links to the site, and the main content. The comments and the discussions were disregarded.

On the article "Higgs Boson Announcement Coming Soon"

Japanese version
The article "Higgs Boson Announcement Coming Soon" has recently been posted on Daily Kos. I noticed it by the ironic article on Mr. Lubos Motl last night (JST). Daily Kos seems not to be a science special blog. But this article is an article to tell the tension and the background of the elementary particle physics in plain terms. "It is a Euroscience conference and there might be some announcements concerning Higgs." I have translated it into Japanese and posted my blog.

Topics appearing in E. Verlinde’s lecture II

Japanese version
22 Jun. and 1st Jul Dr. E.Verlinde gave the lectures titled "The Hidden Phase Space of Our Universe" at Perimeter inst. and Uppsala. What does he emphasize about the universe? Bravely, I will try to explain what does he say about the universe within the range of "High school mathematics" and "High school physics." It divides into two parts. Here, the part II.

Topics appearing in E. Verlinde’s lecture II

It grow more and more interesting. What is the next proposal?

Walks on graphs and statistical mechanics

Japanese version
I have translated the closest Mr. Qiaochu Yuan's Blog to the viewpoint of number theory and statistic dynamics. He describes in it the definition of the partition function, entropy and 1-dimensional vertex model.

Zeta functions, statistical mechanics and Haar measure

Japanese version
This Blog is very interesting from the viewpoint of number theory and statistic dynamics. So I have partially translated into Japanese. There are some argument of the probability that 2 positive integers are coprime each other is equal to one that a positive integer is square-free and some ideas of the Riemann gas and negative logarithmic derivation, which relate Riemann zeta to the partition function of certain statistic dynamics system.

Number theory is Phys of the world of numbers.

Japanese version

Dr. Sarnak's Lecture Notes:
Some Lecture notes by Dr. Sarnak

I read D. Schumayer and D. A. W. Hutchinson's paper (arxiv:1101.3116)

Physics of the Riemann Hypothesis

and become to think that Number Theory is not pure Math. but Phys. of the world of numbers. I gather some related article and build menu as follows:

Riemann Zeta Function and Functional Equation II (Hilbert Polya's proposal)

Riemann Zeta Function and Functional Equation III (From Selberg to Quantum Chaos)

Riemann Zeta Function and Functional Equation IV (H=xp model and Landau level)

V reserved.

Riemann Zeta Function and Functional Equation VI (A Short Story of Automorphic Forms)

Riemann Zeta Function and Functional Equation VII (Hardy-Ramanujan fomula and the central charge of 3-
dimensional black holes)

Riemann Zeta Function and Functional Equation VIII (Lee-Yang theorem and Riemann zeta function)

Riemann Zeta Function and Functional Equation IX(On Mertens Conjecture)

The following article I (partially) translate into Japanese:

Zeta functions, statistical mechanics and Haar measure (prologue)

Zeta functions, statistical mechanics and Haar measure

Walks on graphs and statistical mechanics

Riemann Zeta Function and Functional Equation IX

Japanese version
Perhaps, One of the oldest approach is the Mertens conjecture. In 1885 Mr. Stieltjes propose the conjecture. But now it is thought that the Mertens conjecture might be wrong. However, this approach relate Brownian movement with Riemann zeta and it is thought to be very important and fundamental.

Riemann zeta function and Functional Equation (IX)

I described in this article that the Mertens conjecture is important and Erdos-Kac limit formula relates statistic dynamics with Riemann zeta function.

Riemann zeta Function and Functional Equation VIII

Japanese version
In 1999 Mr. Knauf showed the relation between the Lee-Yang theorem and Riemann zeta function. this article has "Lee-Yang theorem and Riemann zeta function" as the subtitle.

Riemann zeta Function and Functional Equation VIII

This article contains the relation between statistic dynamics and Riemann zeta but there might be another approach. Indeed the next paper is very impressive for me.

Physics and the Riemann Hypothesis (arxiv:1101.3116)

But I do not know the reason why there are no references of Knauf in the above paper, which is one of my motivation.

And KMS_\beta, namely the relation between thermodynamics and Riemann zeta, proposed by A. Connes and his collaborators might be shown to be equivalent to them.
