Andrew Strominger lecture at Harvard about Black Holes. It is much amusing and interesting. I translate the blackboard into Japanese and post it on my BLOG.

Langlands correpondence and physics
Japanese
On Mar.22.2008. at the joint conference of The Mathematical Society of Japan and The Physiccal Society of Japan (in Kinki University) I had the opportunity to attend the lecture of Professor Kazuya Kato, who is the best mathematician of number theory. His talk was so interesting that I could not take any notes of the lecture.
Langlands Correspondence and Physics(in Japanese only)
Regrettably, it was written at still about 2 years ago. It does not contain any more recent results of "Langlands correspondence and physics". I confess now that it was the moment I became interested in the central charge, gravity and quantum gravity theory. However they are very deep and difficult theories.
(The last item of the Schimmrigk's thought, which was written in January of 2009, is relevant to "Arthmetic Langlands correspondence and physics," I think.)

S.Gukov's new article
Sergei Gukov has published a new paper titled "Quantum Field Theory and The Volume Conjecture" on arXiv. I printed it out and glanced it. Hum,,,, I must read it no matter what...
"Quantum Field Theory and the Volume Conjecuture"
In 2003, S.Gukov published the paper titled on arXiv titled "3-dimensional gravity, Chern-Simons theory and A-polynomial". I read it and was very impressed by it but it was so difficult that I could not understand. I began to study a little and a little the 3-dimensional gravity theory and Chern-Simons theory from his paper and other textbooks.
